The Major Winfield Scott Chapter of Scottsdale, Arizona, was formed in 2008
and continues to provide patriotic service, meet educational objectives, and preserve records of members' ancestors who served in the American Revolutionary War.
Our members are multi-faceted women of our community who value our history and take pride in our American Revolutionary War patriots. One of our primary purposes is to grow our friendship across the valley and encourage prospective members to preserve the history of their ancestors and the preservation of Arizona historic sites.
The Major Winfield Scott members volunteer within our community with a wide variety of activities that support our military veterans. Our motivated chapter welcomes ladies between the ages of eighteen to ninety plus to experience the sisterhood of DAR and the reward that comes from expressing patriotism and pride of the freedoms for which our forefathers fought.
Our chapter welcomes you to join our energetic group of patriotic ladies who are proud of their American heritage.
State Motto:
“Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me”
If you have an interest in joining our chapter, we would love to have you.
